CompressX Pro offers the ability to regenerate thumbnails for images in WordPress, in a simple click.

You have a wide range of advanced options for thumbnail regeneration which include :
• Regenerate thumbnails for all sizes
• Add new custom sizes
• Remove unused thumbnails and their metadata
• Remove thumbnails and their metadata if the original image does not exist
• Apply watermark to regenerated thumbnails
How to Regenerate Thumbnails #
In this tutorial, we’ll see how to regenerate thumbnails in WordPress using CompressX Pro:
1. Access Thumbnail ReGen page #
Go to your WordPress admin dashboard > CompressX Pro > Thumbnail ReGen.

2. Add custom thumbnail sizes #
Add new custom thumbnail sizes that you want to generate.

3. Remove unused and orphan thumbnails #
Choose whether to remove unused and orphan thumbnails and their metadata.

4. Specify the date range of the original images #
Specify the date range of the original images to regenerate their thumbnails. For example, I’d like to generate thumbnails for images from Jan 1, 2024 to Mar 31, 2024.

5. Apply watermark to thumbnails #
Choose whether to apply watermark to thumbnails, you can click on the Config Watermark button to select the thumbnail sizes to which you want to apply a watermark.

6. Choose regenerate new sizes or all #
Choose only generate thumbnails for the new sizes, or all sizes.

7. Start bulking regeneration #
Click on the Start Bulking Process to regenerate thumbnails.
