How to Activate Your CompressX Pro License
Step 1: Access the CompressX License Page
- 1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- 2. In the left-hand menu, click CompressX.
- 3. From the CompressX submenu, select License.
You will be redirected to the CompressX License page.
Step 2: Locate the License Activation Section
On the License page, you will see:
- 1. CompressX.io header
- 2. Your current plugin version (e.g., Version 1.9.9 PRO)
- 3. A license activation notice indicating that PRO features are locked until activation
- 4. A License Key input field
- 5. An Activate button
Step 3: Enter Your License Key
- 1. Log in to the CompressX website and navigate to the License & Websites page.
- 2. Copy the license key of CompressX Pro.
- 2. Paste the license key into the License Key field.
Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the license key.
Step 4: Activate the License
- 1. Click the Activate button.
- 2. CompressX will securely validate your license key.
- 3. Once activation is successful, the pro features will be unlocked automatically.
Step 5: Confirm Activation Status
After activation, you should see confirmation that:
- 1. Your license is active.
- 2. CompressX Pro features are available for use.
- 3. No further action is required.
You can now start using all CompressX Pro features across your site.
Step 6: Deactivate the License
Once the process is complete, a green confirmation box will appear stating “CompressX Pro is activated”. The activation button will be replaced by a red Deactivate License button, which you can use if you ever need to move the license to a different site within transfer window.
After deactivating the CompressX Pro license on your website, please remember to also remove the site from the ‘LICENSE & WEBSITES’ page in your CompressX account dashboard. This ensures that the license activation record is fully cleared.
